A Magical Brew! Indianapolis Beermaker Brews New Draught Inspired By The Illusionists—Witness The Impossible

Don't worry, there's no eye of newt or toe of frog or wool of bat or tongue of dog in this magical brew! The beer craftsmen at Sun King Brewery have brewed a new seasonal beer dubbed Alakazam, in honor of the national tour of The Illusionists' engagement at the Old National Centre (January 20 through January 25). The new draught will be unveiled for tapping on January 7 at Theatre on the Square (627 Massachusetts Avenue) at 6:00 PM.

Alakazam, which is the fourth brew created for a touring Broadway In Indianapolis production, is described as "a stout with dark beer roots magically transformed into a blonde colored ale." You're guaranteed to "marvel at its light golden color," "behold its rich malt character" and "be amazed by its taste-tasticness!"

The Illusionists—Witness The Impossible will made its U.S. debut at New York City’s Marquis Theatre in Times Square on November 26, 2014. The mind-blowing spectacular showcases the jaw-dropping talents of seven of the most incredible illusionists on earth. Full of hilarious magic tricks, death-defying stunts and acts of breathtaking wonder, The Illusionists has dazzled audiences of all ages.

Grab a cold one, then get tickets to see this one-of-a-kind spectacular at the Old National Centre!
